Before You Sign Up

Does it cost money to use MozaicMe?

MozaicMe is a free site and will not require you pay to continue using it. You do, however, have the option of making purchases related to reserving tiles within a mosaic.

In addition, if you choose to use MozaicMe from your mobile phone, bear in mind that you may be responsible for any fees associated with internet usage and/or text messaging as determined by your mobile carrier.

 

Creating an Account

How do I sign up for MozaicMe?

If you don't have a MozaicMe account, you can sign up in a number of ways:

  • Sign up to MozaicMe directly

    • Go to www.mozaicme.com

    • Fill in your username, email and password in the sign up form on the Homepage.

    • Click Sign Up.

Note: Passwords must be Strong, must include English letters (uppercase, lowercase), numbers and Non-alphanumeric (!, $, #, @, %) characters

  • Using your Facebook, Twitter or Google+ account:

    • Go to www.mozaicme.com

    • Select:

      • Continue with Facebook

                Selecting this option will redirect you to the Facebook   login page.

      • Continue with Twitter

                Selecting this option will redirect you to a MozaicMe/Twitter dialog page.

      • Continue with Google+

                Selecting this option will redirect you to a Google signin page.

Can I sign up to MozaicMe using other social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter and Google+)?

Yes, you can use your Facebook, Twitter or Google+ account to create a MozaicMe user account.

  • Go to www.mozaicme.com

  • Select:

    • Continue with Facebook

      • Selecting this option will redirect you to the Facebook login page, if you are not already logged-in.

      • Enter your Facebook account login details.

      • You will be presented with a MozaicMe authorization dialog, click OK to enable MozaicMe to use your Facebook account details.

    • Continue with Twitter

      • Selecting this option will redirect you to a MozaicMe dialog page.

      • Enter your Twitter account login details and click Sign-In to enable MozaicMe to use your Twitter account details.

    • Continue with Google+

      • Selecting this option will redirect you to a Google sign-in page.

      • Enter your Google account login details and click Sign In.

      • Click Allow to enable MozaicMe to use your Google+ account details.

      • A dialog will be presented asking for you to allow MozaicMe to access certain account details.

Confirming your email address

To complete the direct signup process, we need to confirm that you own the email address you used to set up the account. Click on the link in the email we sent you to complete the signup process.

Why did I receive a confirmation email from MozaicMe?

Because we need to be certain that you own the email address connected to your account.

Logging In

How do I log into my MozaicMe account?

  • Go to www.mozaicme.com, look to the top right corner of the page.

  • Enter the username or email address you used when signing up for MozaicMe

  • Enter your password.

  • Click Sign In.

  • Select Remember Me to enable your browser to remember your login details. This option should not be selected on public computers.

 

How do I logout of my MozaicMe account?

In the top-right corner of your MozaicMe page, click the  icon and select Logout.

 

I can’t log in

If you are unable to log into your MozaicMe account here are a few things to try first:

  • Forgot your password?

    • Go to the top right hand side of the MozaicMe homepage and click “Forgot your password”, a new window will open.

    • Enter the Email address you used to create your MozaicMe account, click Send.

    • Check your Email and click the link to reset your password. Enter a new in the new password box. Type your password again in the confirm password box, click change password.

 

  • Forgot your login email address?

    • You can also log in with your username.

 

I can’t remember my password

If  you have forgotten your password, follow the steps below:

  • Go to the top right hand side of the MozaicMe homepage and click “Forgot your password”, a new window will open.

  • Enter the Email address you used to create your MozaicMe account, click send.

  • Check your Email and click the link to reset your password. Enter a new in the new password box. Type your password again in the confirm password box, click change password.

I cannot access my MozaicMe account

If you cannot access your MozaicMe account, follow the steps below:

  • Make sure your Email address is correct.

  • Make sure your password is entered correctly.

If you still don’t have access to your account and you are sure you have entered the above details perfectly, then contact us the following email address. We will work with you to solve the problem as soon as possible.

How do I change my password?

If you need to Change your password, follow the steps below:

  • In the top-right corner of your MozaicMe page, click the  icon and select Settings.

  • In the settings menu, select Account.

  • In the account menu, select the password option.

  • Type your current password, your new password and retype.

Setting up your Profile

Setting up your Profile

First Log-in

The first time you log-in to MozaicMe you will get a profile creation page which has 4 steps to complete:

  • Profile Picture

  • Profile Information

  • Find Friends

  • Connect with people

 

Profile Picture

There are two options which enable you to set a profile picture for your account:

  • Upload a photo (from your Computer)

    • Select this option to choose a photo that is on your computer or mobile device.

    • Find the photo and click Open.

    • When the photo has uploaded, select Save and Continue.

 

  • Take a Photo (with your webcam)

    • Select this option to take a photo using your webcam.

    • A dialog box will open. When you are happy with the adjustment of the camera frame, click Take Photo. If the photo is not to your liking, click Take another Photo.

    • When you have taken a photo you are happy with, click Save and Continue to upload it.

    • When the photo has uploaded, select Save and Continue.

 

Profile Information

There are two boxes to fill in:

  • Name: Enter your real name – no aliases or false names are allowed.

  • Description: Add information about yourself that you wish to share with the MozaicMe community.

  • Click Save and Continue.

 

Find Friends

Here you can link MozaicMe to your email contacts from the following email providers: Gmail, Yahoo and Microsoft Outlook.

  • Gmail: Select Find, a dialog box will open asking for permission to allow MozaicMe to have access to your Gmail contacts.

    • Click Allow (if you are already signed in).

    • Otherwise, enter your Gmail password and click Sign In.

    • Click Allow to enable MozaicMe to access your Gmail contacts.

    • MozaicMe will display a list of people who are in your contacts list and also have a MozaicMe account. Select anyone that you wish to connect with.

    • If none of your contacts have an account on MozaicMe, click Invite others to ask friends to join you as part of the MozaicMe community.

    • Select Connect with another email to choose a different email account.

  • Yahoo: Select Find, a dialog box will open asking for permission to allow MozaicMe to have access to your Yahoo contacts.

    • Click Allow (if you are already signed in).

    • Otherwise, enter your email address and click Continue. If you wish to stay signed in to your email account, select Stay Signed In.

    • Enter your password and click Sign In.

    • A verification security code box will open, enter the code from the box into the Type the code shown box.

      • To hear an Audio code select Audio Code.

      • If you are not sure of the code, select try a new code to get a different one.

    • Click Continue.

    • Click Agree to allow MozaicMe access to your Yahoo contacts.

    • MozaicMe will display a list of people who are in your contacts list and also have a MozaicMe account. Select anyone that you wish to connect with.

    • If none of your contacts have an account on MozaicMe, click Invite others to ask friends to join you as part of the MozaicMe community.

    • Select Connect with another email to choose a different email account.

  • Microsoft Outlook: Select Find, a dialog box will open asking for permission to allow MozaicMe to have access to your Outlook.com contacts

 

Connect with people

Here you are shown a list of MozaicMe members who you may wish to connect with.

  • Scroll through the list of members you are presented with.

  • Send a friend request to any that you would like to connect to.

  • You can also follow other MozaicMe members at this point.

  • When you are finished with this step, click Finish.

If you do not complete the steps and click finish, the next time you login into MozaicMe you will again be presented with the 4 setting-up your profile steps.

 

Block & Report

What is blocking?

Blocking is a way to prevent a specific MozaicMe member from doing the following:

  • Viewing your profile.

  • Seeing pages that you create.

  • Seeing pictures that you upload.

It is possible for a member whom you have blocked to be able to see posts which are shared with a mutual friend.

 

What happens when I block someone?

That user will no longer have access to your profile information.

 

How do I block someone on MozaicMe?

  • Go to the profile of the MozaicMe user you wish to block.  

  • In the bottom right corner of the members main cover picture click the following iconand select Block.

  • In the confirmation dialog click OK.

 

How do I unblock a member I have previously blocked?

  • In the top-right corner of your MozaicMe page, click the  icon and select Settings.

  • In the settings menu select Blocked Members.

  • A list of blocked members will be presented.

  • Under the name of the member you wish to unblock, click the Unblock icon.

  • In the confirmation dialog, click OK.

 

How do I block a post?

Go to the post and click on the icon in the top right corner, select "I don't want to see ".

 

How do I unblock a post?

On the members’ page where the post originated, look for the following: This post is now hidden from your news feed. Select Undo and the post will be unblocked.

 

How do I report another member?

Go to the profile of the member that you want to report.  In the bottom right corner of the members main cover picture click the icon and select Report. In the dialog box, provide a reason for reporting the member and click Report now.

 

Am I able to report something that another member has posted?

Yes you can report any post, go to the post and click on the icon in the top right corner, select Report. In the dialog box, provide a reason for reporting the member and click Report now.

 

Deactivate your MozaicMe account

Can I deactivate my MozaicMe account?

Yes, you can deactivate your MozaicMe account, to do so follow these steps:

  • In the top-right corner of your MozaicMe page, click the  icon and select Settings.

  • In the settings menu select Deactivate your account.

  • Click Deactivate account.

 

Can I permanently delete my MozaicMe account?

Yes, you can permanently delete your MozaicMe account, to do so follow these steps:

  • In the top-right corner of your MozaicMe page, click the  icon and select Settings.

  • In the settings menu select Deactivate your account.

  • Select Delete my account permanently.

  • Click Deactivate account.

 

Can I get my MozaicMe account back after I have deleted it?

Yes, you can get your account back if you chose to permanently delete it. contact …@....com and we will recover the account for you

Names on MozaicMe

Names on MozaicMe

What names are allowed on MozaicMe?

You must add your real name; the name you use on a daily basis. Fake names are not allowed on www.mozaicme.com .

 

How do I change my username?

You can only change the username from within your personal profile; to change your username:

  • In the top-right corner of your MozaicMe page, click the  icon and select Settings.

  • In the settings menu, select Account.

  • Enter your new username, then click Save.

 

Can I change my username more than once?

Yes, you can change your username more than once.

 

How many times can I change my username on MozaicMe?

There is, currently, no limit to the number of times you may change your username.

 

Can I add a nickname to my MozaicMe account?

Unfortunately we do not currently have an option to provide for the use of Nicknames.

 

Can I change my location details for my MozaicMe account?

Yes you can change your location information at any time from within your account settings.

  • In the top right corner of your MozaicMe page, click the  icon and select Settings.

  • Select Location and enter the correct Country and/or City details.

  • Click Save.

  • On the Message dialog box click OK.

 

Can I change my country details for my MozaicMe account?

Yes, you can change your current country information from within your account settings.

How can I prevent someone from seeing my profile?

If you want to prevent just one person from seeing your profile, you can block that person as follows:

  • Go to the profile of the MozaicMe user you wish to block.  

  • In the bottom right corner of the members main cover picture click the following iconand select Block.

  • In the confirmation dialog click OK.

If you wish to block all MozaicMe members from viewing your profile:

  • In the top-right corner of your MozaicMe page, click the  icon and select Settings.

  • Select Security and Privacy and then who can view your profile.

  • In the drop-down box, select Nobody.

Anyone who is connected to MozaicMe can follow you, unless you have blocked that user.

 

Who can add me as a MozaicMe friend?

By default, anyone with an account on MozaicMe can add you as a friend.

If you want to change who can send you a friend request follow the steps below:

  • In the top-right corner of your MozaicMe page, click the  icon and select Settings.

  • Select Security and Privacy in the left column.

  • Select Who can send you a friends request .

  • In the dropdown menu, select

  • Everyone

  • Friends of Friends

  • Nobody

 

Can I create multiple accounts on MozaicMe?

MozaicMe is an online community where people communicate using their actual identity. Possession of more than one personal account goes against the standards of the MozaicMe community.

If your goal is to represent your company, your brand or product on MozaicMe, you can use your personal account to create and manage a MozaicMe Page: Personal profiles are reserved for non-commercial use and must only represent an individual.

(Learn more about the differences between the pages and profiles).

If you wish to use your MozaicMe profile to represent something other than your personal images, you can convert it to a Page.

(If you are a public figure, learn how to authorize subscribers.)

If you have two or more accounts, find out how you can gather your information within the same account. You can also add another name (eg maiden name, nickname, previous name) to your account.

 

Is my information visible to people who aren't logged into MozaicMe?

People who are not connected to MozaicMe can still see the items that you make public, as well as your public information (e.g. your name, your profile picture, your cover picture, gender and networks).

 

Security

I think my MozaicMe account has been hacked, what should I do?

We want to help you to ensure your account is secured. If you think your account has been taken over by someone else, send us an email at this address support@mozaicme.com.

 

What I do if someone has hacked my MozaicMe account?

First of all, be certain that your MozaicMe account has been hacked; is there an obvious change that you feel is due to malicious activity? If so, contact us at support@mozaicme.com (if possible, do so while the hacker’s session is active.). We will resolve the issue as quickly as possible. 

 

How can I get my account back if it has been hacked?

Followers & Following

Who can follow me?

  • In the top-right corner of your MozaicMe page, click the  icon and select Settings.

  • Select Security and Privacy in the left column.

  • Under the option Who can follow you there are 3 settings:

    • Everyone – Anyone who is a MozaicMe member can follow you.

    • Only [MozaicMe] Friends - Only MozaicMe members you are friends with can follow you.

    • Nobody – No-one can follow you on MozaicMe.

 

Who can I follow?

You can follow any MozaicMe member who has set their Who can follow you option to:

  • Everyone

  • Only friends – if you are a MozaicMe friend with that member.

 

How do I follow someone?

You can follow another MozaicMe member in the following ways:

  • In the search box at the top of the MozaicMe page, enter the MozaicMe member's name. Next to the name select follow.

  • Go to the main profile page of a MozaicMe member and select Follow next to the profile picture.

  • If a use has set their profile Who can follow you option to Nobody, or to Only friends, and you are not a MozaicMe friend with them, you will not be able to follow them.

Notifications consist of information that has been sent to your account, usually from the MozaicMe admin team.

Pages Basics

What is a MozaicMe Page?

A MozaicMe page is a way for you to present information to the MozaicMe community which you wish to keep separate from your main profile. This can include information about sports, business activities, information for non-profit organisations, entertainment and travel.

 

How are Pages different from personal profiles?

A page is a separate entity from your MozaicMe profile. It allows you to share information to other MozaicMe members based around groupings or organizations.  It allows you to give other MozaicMe members input to and have a measure of control over the content of the page, based upon user roles.

 

How can I create a page?

  • In the top-right corner of your MozaicMe page, click the  icon and select create a page.

  • The create a page dialog will open:

    • Give your page a name (required) e.g. MozaicMe Tennis Club

    • Give it a URL name (required) e.g. MozaicMeTennisClub (The URL will be www.mozaicme.com/pages/mozaicmetennisclub).

    • Select the Page Type (required) e.g. Sports.

    • Add any information you wish to include for MozaicMe members to learn about your page

    • Click Create.

 

Is there an option to invite someone to like your page?

Yes – on the page itself, under the Page picture, there is an option to Invite Your Friends. Your MozaicMe friends will be listed – click Invite on anyone you want to have access to your page.

 

Can I invite all of my MozaicMe friends in one go?

Yes, on the page itself, to the right of the Invite your friends heading is an All Friends option. Select this and choose any friends you wish to invite to view your page.

 

How can I let people know about my page?

You can let people know about your page in the following ways:

  • Invite your MozaicMe friends directly from your page.

  • Send a MozaicMe member a message including the page URL, inviting them to visit it.

  • Email your page URL to friends and colleagues.

 

How many pages can I create?

You can create as many pages as you require.

 

How do I report a Page?

  • On the left side of the page, beside the option to like the page, look for the   icon.

  • Click on it and select Report.

  • In the Report Reason box, enter the details of why you are reporting the page.

  • Click Report.

 

Notifications

Where can I see my Page's notifications?

Notifications that you receive for your page(s) will appear in the notifications area of your main profile.

 

Pages Roles

What is a Page Role?

A page role is a way to assign rights to other MozaicMe members so that they can assist you in managing a page you have created.

 

What are the different page roles and what can they do?

There are 3 roles on a MozaicMe page:

  • Admin:  This user can manage all aspects of the page including: editing page information, posting as the page to other pages, creating ads, seeing which other page admin`s created a post or comment, moderating posts and comments and assigning further page roles.

  • Editor:  This user can edit the page, post as the page to other pages, and moderate posts and comments.

  • Moderator:This user can moderate posts and comments made on the page. 

 

How do I remove myself or someone else who has a role on my Page?

  • Navigate to the page and select Manage Page.

  • In the left column, select Page Roles.

  • Under Manage page roles select remove next to the user you wish to remove.

  • Click OK on the confirmation dialog.

 

How do I give someone a role on my Page?

  • Navigate to the page and select Manage Page.

  • In the left column, select Page Roles.

  • There is a column Add another person.

  • Enter the name of a MozaicMe friend you wish to assign a role on the page.

  • Assign a role to that person and click Save.

 

How do I change someone's role on my Page?

Navigate to the page and select manage page. Below the user's name, select the page role you wish to assign them and click Save.

 

How do I see what my role is on a Page?

Navigate to the page and select manage page. Below your username, you will see the page role you have been assigned.

How do I like a Page?

Navigate to the page, and below the page picture, select Like.

 

How do I unlike a Page?

Navigate to the page, and below the page picture, select unlike.

 

How many Pages can I like?

You can like as many pages as you wish.

 

How do I share a Page with my friends?

  • Navigate to the page

  • Select Invite Friends.

  • Select Invite

 

How do I delete a page I have created?

  • On the right side of the page, beside the option to manage page, look for the   icon.

  • Click on it and select Delete.

  • From dialogue "Are you sure you want to Delete page ?", choose Ok.
